Adventure seekers can enjoy a thrilling mountaineering experience at the 1,376m Gunung Gagau. Other activities include rock climbing and mountain biking.
There were many flora in this mountain own medical value. Mountain Gagau can be scaled through National Park in Kuala Tahan. There will be 8 hours boat ride along Sungai Tembeling and 1 hour through Sungai Sat from Kuala Klapor and 1 more hours to the base camp in Gagau. From the Gagau camp to the top Gunung Gagau takes just one day. Whole trip from Kuala Tahan to Gunung Gagau al least take 6 to 7 days in cumulatively ( go and back ).
You must get permission from the authorities of National Park before climbing up the mountain and there must be an authorize person to escort you to the top.
